Open your eyes, STOP

Open your eyes,

STOP being blind to facts,

the only race is the human race, and ain't no way you can deny that fact.

They try to call us a minority, but we're more than that,

They try to tell us we can only celebrate our history for 28 days, but our history goes deeper than that,

They try to tell us the sun rises and sets, when the earth simply rotates and ain't no way you can deny that fact.

Open your eyes,

STOP being blind to facts,

You think you're "fly" in your Timberland shoes, until you find out your ancestors were hung from that.

You think Tommy Hilfigure ain't calling you a nigger, he is, and that's another fact.

Your slave master, Ralph Lauren, doesn't even look at you black men unless you're driving him around town, and there goes another fact.

So open your eyes STOP being blind to facts.
